Say Hello To My New Black Timbuk2 Ransel

I ever wrote about what backpack [Indonesian called it ransel] I used for my traveling journey on blue ransel. Unfortunately, it has to change to be Black Ransel. I have been wondering whether I have to buy it or not, but I finally bought it and thank God I never regretted my decision to buy it. My black backpack is Timbuk2 Aviator Travel Backpack which made it became my third backpack for traveling more than a week.

I know Timbuk2 when I was living in Singapore . Timbuk2’s shop was on my way home from the place I always go every Sunday. I often stopped and looked for it, but still, hesitate to buy it, but somehow it was always making me think of it when I arrived home.

WHY DO I LIKE IT?

It holds 28.5 liters, which is smaller than my previous backpack, but fits me and looks as nice as my short body. I choose all black instead of black and orange colors. The size is perfectly nice for me so does the shape. The shape is rectangular, meaning I’m more likely to be able to carry it on for those budget airlines and it fits into the metal box where you’re supposed to test it out for the airline. The fabric is water-resistant and rip-stop.

The Aviator has a suspension system of sorts and a hip belt, which is very important. When needed, you can tuck away and clipped on every strap to allow you to carry it as a duffel or as a backpack. One of the straps even has a bottle opener.

The top-loading the feature both zips and clips, making it theft proof, and you can also open it through a front panel. There are lots of compartments for your items and one even includes a rain cover. There is a thick laptop sleeve inside of the bag that fits up to a 17 inch MacBook Pro.

MORE FROM IT

The features and compartments of the Aviator have impressed me, you can feel that it’s designed with the traveler in mind, especially when it comes to the compartments for your passport and travel documents. Since I package with packing cubes, which made me easily travel with enough items for a few weeks in this bag.

Although there are a few things I’m not in it about the Aviator such as it looks full even when it isn’t, so you may not be able to squish it under your seat when necessary. I faced it one time about this case. It also doesn’t expand, so the size you see is what you get

I could certainly use it for longer travels, depending on how much I want to bring. I would definitely recommend this bag if you’re looking to go carry on only and want the look of a backpack with added versatility. And with a lifetime warranty, this may be your bag for life.
